In a FIRE survey, my University–Duquesne–was unfairly slammed. But the real news of the survey was the lack of commitment to free speech among students. We can do something about that only if we ourselves believe in a rational and beneficent universe. My op-ed today in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
