My new book, The Universe Is on Our Side: Restoring Faith in American Public Life, has finally shipped. I saw a copy delivered yesterday–I don’t have any copies yet. I’ve been telling people to order from Oxford Press, but the book is widely available. There will soon be a space on this website for orders.
I and others will have plenty to say about the book on this website. For now, people should know that it is one of the few recent books about American public life that does not trace our breakdown to the misconduct of one side or the other. Nor do I recommend that only certain people change their ways.
