Andrew Seidman of the Philadelphia Inquirer wrote a story Sunday about a controversial ad run by one of the candidates in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court race to be decided in a couple of weeks. Bruce is quoted explaining why advertising rules for judicial candidates generally prohibit ads criticizing a sitting judge for a judicial decision. Judges, after all, are supposed to follow the law, which means they don’t get to decide on the basis of what they or people generally prefer.
